SEASONAL SHORT FILM

For SALON’s Winter Experience, seasonality is everything. We focused on the hero ingredients, the craft, and the drama of creation. Every frame draws the viewer in – inviting them to witness the process, but never revealing all the secrets.

SHADOW

Our approach to this shoot treated light as a precision instrument. Strategic low-key lighting sculpted each frame, enhancing texture, depth, and contrast. By controlling illumination and shadow, we achieved visuals that feel intentional, cinematic, and immersive.

Mood & Tone

LIGHT

Where the light hits is key. We intentionally light our subjects wherever possible to produce the most intriguing frame. Light really is everything – even if you have an average lens.

When it comes to SALON’s brand aesthetic we aim for full-frame macro along with strategically placed lighting. Ingredients play an important role, as our mission is to capture shots with colour to create a more vibrant appeal – communicating the feeling of taste.

Across all scenes we ensure the colour matches up to keep SALON’s brand integrity intact with the viewers.

CARVING PROGRESS

In this theatre of movement, motion and devine creation. We have the leading creative mind, Carla. Who ideates, innovates and compartmentalises ideas to allow for emmense culinary creativity.
